About the role 

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to support a 40 year old male with a spinal cord injury. Female applicants are preferred.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Personal care & bowel care
  • Hoist transfers & manual handling
  • Medication administration 
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Domestic tasks
  • Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can. 

Shift times 7 days per week: 

  • AM shifts 7:30am-9:30aam
  • PM shifts 8pm-10pm

Requirements:  

  • Previous care experience
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
  • Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)​
