Disability Support Worker - Inala
QLD

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who live in and around the Inala area to support five participants to live independently within their shared living home.

 

While your skills/qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values, attitude and cultural alignment with Southern Cross are essential.

 

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Personal care tasks 
  • Complex care needs
  • Medication administration 
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Manual handling
  • Domestic assistance 
  • Special meal preparation
  • Willing to drive modified vehicle - Essential
  • Documentation and reporting


You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can. 

 What you need:

  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
  • Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent

 

Shift times available are:

Monday 8:30am -3:15pm

Tuesday 3.15pm-10pm

Saturday 3.15pm-10pm
