About the role 

We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker (participant requests female worker) who lives in and around the Bateau Bay area to support a 36-year old female with Dermatomyositis to live independently within her own home.

 Duties include but not limited too 

  • Assistance with Personal care tasks
  • Medication Administration
  • Assistance with therapy tasks
  • Use of Mobility Equipment
  • Light Domestic Assistance
  • Meal Preperation and Community Participation
  • Applying of Protective Dressing​

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can. 
 

Job Type : Contractor 


Shift times available are:​

  • Monday, Friday, and Saturday: 10am - 2pm

Requirements

  • Current references
  • Mobile phone 
  • Current driver's license and your own car
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory) 
  • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • WWCC-Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
