About the role 

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide full care and assistance to a 17 year old female with a traumatic brain injury, this care will help her live independently at home with her family.

Duties include but not limited too 

  • Personal care 
  • Medication administration 
  • Peg feeding
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Manual handling
  • Domestic assistance 
  • Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can. 

Shift times daily: 

  • 7am-3pm
  • 3pm-11pm
  • 11pm-7am (active night shift) 

Requirements:  

  • ​Applicants must have good English speaking skills, be clear and easily understood
  • Previous care experience
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone 
  • Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory) 
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory) 
  • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Paid WWCC (Working with Children's​ check) or willing to obtain
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
