About the role 

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who live in and around the Parkes area to support a 39 year-old Male participant with a Traumatic Brain Injury to remain living independently within his living home.

While your skills/qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values, attitude, and cultural alignment with Southern Cross are essential.

Travel incentive may be considered if living out of immediate area.

Duties include but not limited to:

      • Medication administration 
      • Domestic assistance 
      • Special meal preparation and Community participation 
      • Manual Handling
      • Community Access
      • Personal Care

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can. 
 

Job Type: Contractor 

What you need:

    • Current references
    • Mobile phone 
    • Current driver's license and your own car
    • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory) 
    • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
    • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing 
    • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (Paid (mandatory))
       

Days/Hours 

​Alternate Tuesday and Thursday: 16:00 - 22:00 
Alternate Tuesday and Friday: 07:00 - 14:00 
Possiblity of relief shifts
