Disability Support Worker - West Albury (Female workers preferred)

About the role 

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who live in and around the West Albury area to support a 61-year old quadriplegic gentleman who is Ventilator  dependent to live independently within his own home with his family.

Duties include but not limited too 

  • Personal care including bowel care
  • Medication administration 
  • Assistance with allied health tasks
  • Use of mobility equipment including hoisting
  • Domestic assistance 
  • Ventilator and Tracheostomy Management
  • Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

 What you need:

  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
  • Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
  • Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent

Days/Hours 

This is a 24 hour roster and there are several shifts available, please indicate your availability within the application form.
